This thesis of Valentijn Wortelboer (2006) elaborates on the characteristics of political youth participation in Guatemala.

As one of the countries in which Young NIMD is active, this study of Valentijn Wortelboer (2006) is very relevant. It gives a good description and analysis of political youth participation. The study is not written on behalf of (Young) NIMD, but served as his Master's thesis (University of Maastricht, 2006) based on elaborate field work in Guatemala.
